On the second day of our Galapagos tour in 2022 we landed on Isla Española at Punta Suarez. Our trip had been delayed two years because of COVID so we had plenty of time to dream about the many amazing animals we would see. I was especially excited to see the marine iquanas, and was ecstatic when this stately creature gave this noble pose with the perfect blue of the Pacific ocean in the background.
