Species: American Bison | Location: Yellowstone, United States Of America
On a winter trip to Yellowstone we were surrounded by such beauty in a frozen land. These two bison had spent the night by the river where the temperatures are not as drastic. It was still obvious how cold it was and also how the bison's thick coats protect them in even the harshest weather. I don't think many animals could be so covered in ice and survive.
