Species: Lion | Location: Okavango Delta, Botswana
Early one morning we set out tracking two brothers who were entering another lion's territory. We spotted them in tall grass and watched fascinated as they lowered themselves down and all but disappeared. They had spotted a herd of zebra and focused completely on them. The zebras passed too far out of range apparently, for the lions made no move to hunt. The zebras were never aware of the lions due to the amazing camouflage.
