Location: Galapagos Islands, Ecuador , Ecuador
Two young seals just enjoying a day at the beach. The shot was taken low at their level to connect with but with a long lens so as not disturb these animals. Wide open aperture gave the shallow depth-of-field to bring attention to their faces. The Galapagos Islands certainly is one of the few places where you can connect so easily with wildlife.
About The Photographer
I started into 35mm film photography, inspired by my grandfather. Through late high school and college, I shot family and other life experiences. Then for years, family, career, and life in general just took over my energy. With time I went back, first in SLR film, then digital. Retirement brought more adventures and travel with wonderful photographic opportunities.Vote for this photo in the Nat Hab's 2024 Guest Photo Contest People’s Choice Awards!
