I always loved composition, but when my father gave me his SLR camera I learned to love other aspects of photography. I preferred using my fully manual Minolta to my more sophisticated Nikon DSLR, but digital photography gave me the freedom to successfully experiment with such wonders as birds in flight. I love to travel to new places around the world, and the act of taking photographs helps to fix images in my mind.
