Species: Elephant | Location: Gomoti Camp Vicinity, Botswana
We enjoyed our safari trip to Botswana in June, 2024 and took many photos of elephants. This one decided he wanted to have a snack on the road and didn’t care that we needed to get by. The fact is that he was way bigger than us and we certainly were not going to attempt to get him to move. We discovered that elephants are very aggressive as they flap their ears and make lots of noise and like to charge to prove they are the big guys! We appreciated our guide who was an expert on elephant behavior and made sure we were never in any danger.
