Species: Jaguar | Location: Northern Pantanal By Port Jofre, Brazil
We are on a boat, about seventy-feet offshore on the Cuiaba River, by Porto Jofre, Northern Pantanal, Brazil, when the jaguar, after wake-up yawns and stretches, saunters to the river for a good morning drink. After the drink, we followed the jaguar for an hour or so as he/she prowled the shoreline seeking prey. The photo was taken on a Natural Habitat trip led by Fred in the second-half of August, 2024.
