Young Hyenas Playing Tug Of War With A Piece Of Animal Skin
Species: Spotted Hyenas | Location: Linyanti Camp Area, Botswana
This was our first visit to a hyena den where there at least three different ages of hyenas there. While the adults kept an eye on all the pups, a couple of curious 8-week old pups check us out. And then a couple of teenage hyenas starting playing tug-of-war with a piece of skin. It was wonderful to observe their different behaviours.
