Wild African Dog Bringing Dinner Back To Den
Species: African Wild Dog | Location: Gomoti Camp Area, Botswana
Our wonderful guide, Richard, found the illusive den of Wild African Dogs on our last morning drive. (We had searched for 3 days for this pack, because they moved their den location). We got there just as a group of adults got back to the den after a successful hunt. They fed all the pups and then this one was bringing a meal to one of the adults that stayed behind with all the pups. See how red the neck and mouth is from the kill.
