Exploring The Marsh Of The Okavango Delta
Location: Jacana Camp / Okavango Delta, Botswana
The Jacana Camp is located in an area of the Okavango Delta where we were surrounded by a maze of wetlands. While the water levels were low during our visit, they were high enough that we were able to explore the wetlands by mokoro, a traditional poled dugout canoe. It was quiet and peaceful and the morning light gave us a different perspective on our surroundings than what we observed during our game drives.
