Species: Hippopotamus | Location: Okavango Delta, Botswana
As we were nearing the end of our trip and safari one of our last views before night fall was of a lone Hippo giving us a nice big yawn. Though the Hippo was probably going to be up much later then we were, we all related by yawning ourselves after the long and amazing day we had. This moment was almost a perfect sendoff in a way letting us know everything will continue in its perfect cycle. Yes, as the sad feeling of our trip coming to an end was setting in, I couldn't help myself but replay all the crazy, eventful, and beautiful moments we had witnessed.
