Hovering Lilac Breasted Roller

Lilac Breasted Rollers are the holy grail for bird photographers in Eastern and Southern Africa. We saw many rollers on this trip, but they were so fast it was hard to capture one in focus and in flight. This one obliged us by hovering for several seconds, waiting to spear a spider hiding in the grass.
