Species: Leopard | Location: Near Jacana Camp, Okavango Delta, Botswana
While on the Secluded Botswana Photo Safari late August 2023, while out on an afternoon safari, we spotted a female and male up on a large dead tree branch. According to our guide, the two leopards we resting from a mating session. I was watching and noticing how beautiful the female was when she got up to stretch and stand, showing her full profile and awesome fur coat. I took the photo when she turned her head facing in our direction. The lighting of the day helped to accentuate the colors in her coat. Just goes to show that fur looks best on its live wild original owner.
