Prisoner Release
Species: Polar Bear | Location: Churchill Manitoba, Canada
We were lucky to see this polar bear, newly released from Churchill's "bear jail," on its way via helicopter to a frozen expanse somewhere out of town. We were told that "bear jail" is the town's temporary holding facility for polar bears that wander into town looking for dinner.
