Species: Bear | Location: Alaska Brooks Falls, United States Of America
We were with the NatHab tour "Bears of Brooks Falls" watching the bears capturing salmon and fattening up for winter. Many bears were fishing for salmon but a few males were playing and rough-housing with each other. It would appear to be a violent battle but the bears just "play-attacked" each other, never biting, never hurting each other. They would attack, roar, and in the final throes of play battle, be seen hugging each other. All for play.
