This photo was taken on the NatHab "Alaska Grizzly Encounter: Kodiak to Katmai" trip this past July. This little guy was having a blast just rolling in the grass in the sunshine without a care in the world. Enough said!

Upon retirement I thought it would be fun to learn photography. We'd recently moved to Amelia Island, Florida where nature was abundant and I wanted to try to capture that beauty. I soon found that I also enjoyed photographing humans and animals, especially those that evoked heart-warming or heart-wrenching reactions. Today I absolutely adore my wildlife subjects and the challenge of capturing emotional moments with them. I love being able to combine traveling the world with my love of photography, and am very grateful that I've had some wonderful opportunities to do so.
