Species: Tailor Bird | Location: Danum Valley, Malaysia
As part of our expedition to Borneo in May 2012, we went out on a night walk while in Danum Valley. We were looking for frogs and similar creatures, not birds. A short distance from the lodge, our guide shown his light underneath the leaves on a small tree a few feet from the path. Three baby birds were sitting there, too young to fly away. We quickly moved on to avoid further disturbing them, but not until I was able to take this picture. The guide identified these babies as tailor birds,
