Location: Impalia Island, Namibia
In a small village on Impalia Island in Namibia we were able to meet with local villagers and their families. The children were especially sweet in their interactions with us, showing us their yummy treats. The families didn’t have much but were willing to share their customs, shows us their native dances and show us around their makeshift village. They will have to move when the rainy season comes as this village is close to the river and as the river swells safer locations must be found.
