Time Spent With The San Bushmen
Location: Kalahari Dessert, Botswana
The San group leader was teaching us about the hunter-gather ways of the people. It was fascinating to hear about the various uses of tree species, how they track wildlife and how to make fire with only sticks. They are the oldest indigenous culture in the world. Some may know the Bushmen from the Hollywood comedy "The Gods Must be Crazy".
