Species: Coastal Brown Bear | Location: Lake Clark National Park, Alaska, United States Of America
We were at the NatHab Bear Camp and were enjoying another wonderful day of viewing the magnificent Coastal Brown Bear feeding on the sedge. As we sat in our "viewing position", this guy (known as Blanket) decided to come check us out and see what was going on. So do we leave or remain perfectly quiet and still and watch in awe, and some trepidation, as Blanket ambled past or try to figure out a way to retreat?. Our expert and ever calm guide/expedition leader kept us all calm so we got to enjoy this wonderful encounter with one of the most magnificent creatures in our amazing world. What an experience!!!!
