Species: Fanie Mpiping Our Expedition Leader | Location: Linyanti Tented Camp, Botswana
Fanie....His love of nature and Botswana and the bush especially with regard to conservation was infectious. Fanie gave us so many opportunities to see such a head-spinningly large cast of charismatic animals. We miss his joyous personality and wish we were right back in the bush with him. If we ever have the chance to take this trip again we would insist that Fanie be our guide. His quote... we will remember as we encountered wildlife …
“ The 1st one is always the most interesting! “
About The Photographer
Photo / Video Journalist, " Videographer"...Since retiring 20 years ago I have tried to blend Video & Photography. I Started with the GoPro fish eye ( still and video), then Canon T6i for its great video and still photos with all the macro and telephoto lens, and then of course the iPhone. I have tried to blend these tools together providing a sense of movement combined with stationary shots to create stories with diverse tools. I started with simple iPhoto slide shows 10 years ago, editing and then blending photos with iMovie. I try to bring together several shots sometimes taken in unison using different devices form many positions to capture these special moments; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uDycQ4jIYW8&t=5s When the iPhone enhanced their settings to "live" and portrait it helped me achieved what I had been trying to blend for years. Still a work in process... living life to its fullest with a camera by my side! Although the editing takes hours and hours to make short shows for You Tube ... https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCUNft5a1usk7cOuPNac-9yA , I get my biggest kicks for creating these illustrations for family and friends. It's so worthwhile for weddings, special events, adventure trips, to celebrate people who have passed and much more. I gift my work to document life events for others and I get lots of great vibes back! Obviously it works for grandchildren too!Follow Lawrence Clifford on Instagram: @https://www.facebook.com/cliff.george.14
