Species: Ursus Americanus | Location: Great Bear Rainforest, British Columbia, Canada
This is the most adorable Black Bear, named Splash by the local Gitga'at people because of her fishing technique. She often fishes off of the trunk of a fallen tree, reaching down and eventually splashing into the water to get a salmon. The problem was a bunch of Nat Hab guests were sitting on the bank nearby. So, she eyed up the salmon bits on the log and us before coming back up to have a snack and fish again. Stare into her eyes, and tell me you're not enchanted by her!
