Downward Lion
Species: Lion & Elephant | Location: Sable Alley, Botswana, Botswana
While on safari with my family in Botswana in July 2024, we came across an elephant that had died in a watering hole. Throughout the morning, two separate pairs of male lions fought over which pair would claim this meal. Eventually all four lions decided to share in the feast.
